... Best Trick Shot Video #6 - Jeff...
I only looked at this one, but the guy needs work. The jump shots seem to be played with miscues and the 1-2-3/3-2-1 shot (balls go in pocket in opposite order they're struck) is just plain not done right. The railroad shot was too simple.

You might want to include the Sayginer shots in your next listing.

The performer in #1 is Sakai Masaaki, a comedy talent/actor in Japan. Actually, famous Kimura Yoshikazu supervised the performance for a new year tv program.

I've seen this video on youtube with comments like how incredible this guy is. To tell you the truth, at the shooting of this video, he had most likely never touched a cue until about a month or two prior to the recording. Every year here in Japan, they have this special TV show where well known entertainment figures are chosen to learn a new talent to be performed on the special show called "kakushi gei" or hidden talent, where they're divided into two teams (red/white) and compete against eachother. In the past, well known entertainers have learned tight rope acts, magic tricks, and other 'impossible' talents to be displayed on the show. Sakai yearly newly acquired hidden talents are always the highlight of every show. Most memorable for me was one of the earlier shows when he worked for two months straight to learn and put together a pretty impressive golf trick shot routine.
So, just to set the record straight................this guy Sakai is no gifted trick s hot artist, and probably couldn't pocket a ball if his life depended on it. And as you can clearly see in the video, most of his shots depend more on the setting and less on the ability of the player. However, I must admit that Sakai must have worked really hard to have gone from never stroking a ball in his life, to being able to appear to have somewhat of a stroke and a little bit of form too...............and all of that done in probably a 6-8 week period of time. So I hate to break everybodys hearts, but the truth is, this guy Sakai is nothing of a cueist, but considering that he's probably not even a C level player, he put on a pretty good show. (in how many takes?)

My thoughts exactly! Bogdan Walkowski and Mike Massey also deserve a place here.

I couldn't find any Bogdan Walkowski on Google Video or YouTube... and Massey only uncovered one video on YouTube. Oddly enough, his partner in that video - Yoshikazu Kimura - absolutely STEALS the show.

Check out the shot with the old coke bottles. Simply the best I’ve seen yet. I don’t know how you could even try to hit that in front of an audience.

See the video of the BEST shot I've seen here.

Sorry about that, it's Wolkowski. His english isn't all that but he gets the trick done. Six time snooker trick shot world champion.

Nice collection of shots... but you need to add another shooter that is really amazing. His name is Roberto Rojas and he is truly one of the greatest.

Thanks for finding the Bogdan Wolkowski video Double-Dave... I made a blog post referencing the new clips and made sure to thank you in it.

I tried to find some Roberto Rojas, but kept coming up with the Chilean goalkeeper. The billiards Rojas required a bit more work ... and I couldn't find any videos on english websites. If anyone knows of any, please send me the links.
Appreciate all the help folks!

billiardblogger, Thanks for the links

I for one enjoyed all of the video's and find the shooter's to be very talented I don't care how long
they've been shooting or if they are engineers or not.

I look forward to seeing them all on the Pro Artistic Pool tour soon.

To the shooters I say, keep up the good work and remember nay say'ers
are a penny a dozen, for you are the folks that make the Artistic Pool Sport Special.
