Does anyone else find the timing of this offer to be a little strange?

The top players in the world are getting ready to compete in one of the biggest events of the year, and now they have to deal with making a decision on KT's latest offer.

KT is able to screw with the players from the other side of the globe.

This is a very good point. All non payment issues aside, the IPT has shown zero compassion for the players and in the case of the world championships that started today, there are many IPT players competing in this event and I would guess that many of them want to win the World Championships more than any other tournament.

So, to mess with their minds at a time like this (considering how much of pool is a mental game) is downright cruel. I didn't think I could possibly lose anymore respect for the IPT than I already have, but they have done it again. Feel ashamed IPT.
 
IMO, the timing of the IPT payment offer is coincidental. It might even work to the advantage of the players in that they can now discuss the offer among themselves.
