The US OPEN!!! Who's Going?

The US Open is right around the corner, and I am very excited for all that are going! This is one of the best events of the year for seeing great pool, meeting old and new friends and lot's of action!

So, who's going? Where ya staying and when ya leaving?

I still might get to go, but it does not look too good for me :(

One nice thing is that Timberly will be there, new computer in hand, so hopefully we will have some live updates like VF! Next best thing to being there, is having Timberly there! :D
 
Eydie, I hope you are feeling better and you get to go to the Open.

My wife and I will be arriving on Wednesday and staying until the bitter end. :D
 
I am also arriving wednesday and staying till the end. what are the the usual times? When does play start on a normal day, and what time is it usually over for the day?
 
I will arrive on Monday, and stay till the very end.

I will be at the X Breaker booth (booth #1) right in front of the entrance to the buffet.

Charlie Bryant can be found at the table in front of the X Breaker booth from time to time. 2005 World Pool Championship runner up, Kuo, from Chinese Taipei, may also be there.

I will be looking forward to meeting you.:)

I would've arrived on Monday and left the next Monday but I cancelled everything about 2 weeks ago. (It's the first time I don't go. :( )

I hope everyone has a great time and I expect to see pictures, pictures, pictures, and updates!

Thanks so much Rich! I doubt if I can get to go, it's more wishfull thinking than anything.... There is no way I could sit that long in a car for the drive down..:(

I will be arriving Wed evening. If they have wifi in the tournament room I'll be doing live updates. ;)

Hey I am coming early friday morning and staying till sunday I hope to meet some azers. My name is Leonard and I dont own anything to wear except black shorts and 3X pool tshirts usually black or gray or 8 reasons I hate # 24 gray tshirt I will wear the last one saturday day session so come say hey.
 
Getting in late Wednesday night or early thursday Morning. Will be leaving probably on Sunday Morning. Can't stay until the finals. Can't be gone that long....................mike
 
I convinced my wife that a overnight trip to the US Open would be fun for the entire family. It also helped that my 7 year old is now starting to like pool. This will be my first visit to the US Open and I cannot wait. I will be their for Saturday and Sunday. I hope to meet many of you. I will be the one with the young boy in tow asking when he can play, so please say hello. I am bringing my digitial camera, so I hope to post pictures on my return.

this is my first open too........im playing it fast and loose but my plan is to get there tuesday and leave sometime thursday.
 
I'm local so I'll be out as often as I can. I've lived in the area for over a decade, so if anyone needs anything let me know. The girlfriend said no overnight guests, though. later ---- Jon

Take a night trip down to Virginia Beach while you are there. I believe that this is the weekend of the Neptune Festival down there. It is usually held the last weekend in September.................mike
 
That sounds great. Any info or link on the Neptune Festival would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the heads up.
 
I wouldn't miss the Open even if my House was on Fire...... I'll put it out when I get Home.:D

stop by the Josey Custom Cues booth and say hey. keith will be there on monday to sunday and i will meet him on thursday and will stay through sunday. i hope to match faces to members....:eek:...some how i think that came out the wrong way. oh well anyway i'll see ya there.
