I didn't get to see much of the Semi Finals but well played to Ding and what I seen of Selby V O'Sullivan looked very scrappy.The kind of game that makes you think,hey,I could do better than that.;)

If you predicted Selby V Ding for the Final,well done and go to the top of the class as it wouldn't have been a popular choice and the bookies win yet again I think but hopefully the Final will be a good one,fingers crossed.
 
Ding Ding Ding
He's leading Selby 5-3.
The race is to 9...or best of 17 for those who make 'breaks' instead of 'runs'.
Ding looks so steady over the ball and Selby has his typical twitches....
...but both are worthy finalists.

Sometimes I wonder why they don't have an event in that other famous
Welsh location.......
..Llanfairpwllgwgngllgogerychwyrndrobwlllantysiliogogogoch.....

..but then I realized...who can afford to make the poster?:smile:
 
Ding Junhui wins 9-6 over Mark Selby.

After a lackluster season, seems like he's gonna hit stroke at the right
time....world championship just around the corner!

The Ding story is a nice one.
I've heard that he showed promise as a kid, so his family sold their house
so they could ship Ding to Britain for coaching.
It certainly paid off.

Anybody know any more details?
