Fresh from his Luftwaffe German Masters raid Jeff's latest selections are :

Welsh wonder

Our tipster Jeff Anderson, who backed a 25/1 winner at the recent German Masters, is keen on Neil Robertson in the Welsh Open and also has a 300/1 outsider for you.

To tip Neil Robertson @ 7/1, aye I see the point.
To tip Michael Wasley @ 300/1 is clutching @ straws.
To tip anthony hamilton @ 80/1 is just the same.

Maybe Jeff Anderson is on a recovery mission to get back past losses.

If your having a bet best of luck.:)

Are you watching, Grommy?

Willie Thorne, commentating on this evening's Trump Vs Dunn match.

"Isn't it difficult to play that shot?", following a roll-up shot by Trump, which he left embarrassingly short.

Easy win for Judd Trump

So far I like this tournament much more than the German Masters.

This youtube poster has been putting up a few of the matches.

Don't know the language :D

Great result for Joe Perry, beating Selby by 4-0. The commentators mentioned an incident that might have upset Selby, but I don't what it was. His highest break was 11!

I'm starting to get a bit sick of Trump - he won this afternoon, but was woeful again. I've no problem with him being the latest in a long line of English losers, but he needs to stop making out he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. In my opinion, he can't control the CB well enough, can't dominate an opponent and has a suspect safety game.

Fantastic clearance by Bings to beat Robertson! Terrific stuff.

Great post match interview as well - "I'm just happy to be over the moon". Sadly, the beeb decided to cut short the rest of the interview, or there would have been many more adrenaline fueled mixed metaphors, I'm sure.

Where IS Grommy?

I know he's probably out practicing those 1000 " easy" roll-ups, but it's disappointing he's not watching the Welsh Open. Terry Griffiths has just said "these roll-ups are very difficult on these fast cloths", and Darren Morgan said "they are twitchy ones - horrible shots to play" the other day.

Granted, Morgan was never much of a player - certainly not in Grommy's class - but Griffith is a former world champion, and should know his onions.

Brilliant stuff by Trump today. He was clearly stung by my criticism and has upped his game. He stills leaves his opponents too many chances to dominate matches, but his cuing is absolutely exceptional at times. Some of the shots he played today were simply unbelievable.

Still fancy Ding for this tournament, however.

Fantastic final.

It was a privilege to be a snooker fan last night. SO many on here follow yawnathon pool matches yet ignore exceptional entertainment like was served up last night.

You just can't beat it. I don't think any other sport captures drama and tension like it.
