well, ok, now get this. just when i didnt think things could get any worse, it did.
like i said on the other post, i went home last night, and basically just racked the balls and broke em, to see if i could run some racks. i had spent about 3 hours wednesday night working on some shots. well, lo and behold, I RAN SOME RACKS EARLY ON!!! got some decent rolls, and i had a smile on my face. yes, now i did get some bad rolls off the break, messed up a couple chances too, but all in all i was a happy man.
so, i had to break for supper cause i was starving and then disaster struck. i was really looking forward to getting back down to the table, and then the ELECTRICITY GOES OFF!!! storms came through, and i was without power for over 3 hours. i finally go down with a flashlight and get my cues, flip the light switches to off, cover the table up, wipe the balls off, and give up for the evening. the electricity came back on about 10:00 or so.
just when things were going good for me, mother nature shuts me down. you can imagine my disappointment.
oh, and no videos of me will be forthcoming. and yes, i take the game quite seriously. again, i try and play/practice 2-5 hours a day, have bought many teaching videos, have the best table/balls/cues that money can buy, attend professional tournaments, tape ESPN shows and watch them over and over, taken many a lesson from Tom "Dr Cue" Rossman, Diana Minor, and Mark Wilson, have invented some of my own various ways to practice, etc, etc, etc. anybody that thinks i dont take the game seriously, and want to get better, just doesnt know the whole story. and in all honesty, it does seem to me at times that i just get more than my fair share of bad rolls off the break, but i suppose that happens to everyone at some point in time. and yes, i probably do like to complain about my lack of ability at times, and the bad rolls at time, as if they are just plain bad luck and the world is against me. sorry, my apologies for that, i'll try and tone it down in the near future.
but i cant wait to get home and rack em up again tonight!
regards,
DCP
