Actually that's only partially correct... The Cue Times Billiard News has been around for over two decades (primarily as a regional billiard newspaper covering the pool scene in and around Colorado), but today it has just jumped into the 21st Century by launching a brand new magazine app. It is now designed specifically for viewing on all smartphones, tablets and other digital devices with content that will be of interest to a national audience.
For me as the Cue Times editor, this has become about telling the stories of the amateur pool player (a place I have firmly and proudly resided for over 20 years) and offering a resource we can go to for instruction, regional tournament information and billiard supplies - all in a one-stop app. In addition, there's enough humor and drama and inspirational stories in our pool lives to fill books’ worth of material and we plan to tap into that as well.
