Thicker Wrap

I have a custom cue. Only issue is the butt is thinner then most. Is there a way to have the wrap redone to make it thicker? Without looking bad.

No.
Doing so will give you a cue that looks like a snake that swallowed a fire-extinguisher.

Could it be refinished over the wrap like a Meucci? Which wouldn't bother me. It's either give it to my son, have it refinished to sell or sit in the closet. Just looking at my options.

Option 1
Add finish to the butt sleeve and use a thick leather wrap so it's flush.
Option 2
Refinish over the wrap as you suggested.

Depending who's custom it is; refinishing over the wrap can devalue the cue quickly.
