Are you saying the "net effects of the applied spin" at the same CB speed are different if the speed is produced by the tip vs. the stroke? I think the effects are the same both ways.

I'm saying I can easily see the results differences between a Revo with a phenolic jump tip & one with a Kamui Black SS hitting the exact same shot the exact same way.
Does "same way" mean "same stroke speed"? With soft vs. hard tips that would produce different CB speeds and therefore different amounts of swerve for many shots. The tip's only contribution is the speed difference.
However you see it, it's working for you, so this is just academic nitpicking.
And maybe we're saying the same thing in different ways...?

"Same way" means same result as in getting let's say very tight position on the next ball.
Different amounts of swerve is exactly what I am talking about.
