Thinking of ordering a pool cue case directly from Dennis Swift.

I was looking for a 2 x 4, or 3 x 6 Swift in the Wanted-for Sale Section, and came up with nothing because of a long cue butt section.

I am think of ordering a Swift directly from Dennis. Anyone have any recent dealing with Dennis, and know what his normal delivery turn around is on a case order?

Still debating 2 x 4, verses 3 x 6. Weight is a consideration.

Anyone know what Dennis?s 2 x 4, and 3 x 6 weigh empty.

Check out John Barton's cases before you commit to anything.:)

Thanks for mentioning John Barton, but I am set to buy a Swift. Hopefully some Swift Owners will add to my post, and give me the requested information...

swift

my swift weghs less then my nstroke! the strap on the swft opens to make it much longer than the instroke! i love the swift! great choice and i hope you enjoy your new case!:D

my opinion

Go with the 2x4, why would you ever need the 3x6. A playing cue and a jump/break cue is all you should ever need to carry.

Might just want to have a Playing Cue, and (2) Shafts of a different weight with me for a back up or change of game.

A few of the local guys I know have 3X6 cases.

A few of them keep a Carom cue with them, and one guy has a cue he just uses for bar box games.

And one of them is a team captain and always has cues with him for some of his team members to use.

Another guy who comes around is always buying and selling cues.

I have bought two cases from him this year. A 2x4 and a 3x6. Both had custom lettering and only took about 6 weeks from order to delivery. I have not weighed them but my best guess is the 3x6 weighs about 1-1/2 pound more empty.

Sounds like you just answered your own question. The case isn't that much larger, and you'll have space for the kitchen sink in that tooled baby.
