Both Sky and Justin left it all out there... Performed to the best of their ability under immense pressure... What I learned from this year though is that everybody $hits, EVERYBODY. I remember watching Neils freeze himself onto a ball with bih, etc, etc, so on, so on...
Anyway, viewing the majority of matches led me to a different way of thinking for this format. Instead of trying to field the greatest, most talented squad. Let's try to keep it simple here. Field 5 players that hold up the best under pressure. They dont have to, or need to be top tier world class. Just play near their speed when it counts. If we can do this, I promise you it will be much more competitive...
Maybe try to draw players that are seasoned in both cash and tourney play. Players with solid psr that can hold it together regardless of venue, etc... Bartrum and Oscar both come to mind for me. They both play as hard as anyone on this planet. Rodney also comes to mind for me as a jam up pressure player. But idk, its obviously jmho... But please kick it around folks for sweat sake... I know alot of you might think I'm nuts but I would be confident in a team of these grinders holding up over there...
