Can someone explain to me how this was done? It sure looks real but not possible.
Lets see, you're basing your statement on the validity of digital photo. evidence on a 30yr old Hollweird tv show??From my understanding watching Matlock years ago (well before digital), photographic evidence is only admissible in court if the photographer is there in person to testify, or, if it is from something like a video security system and the footage can be authenticated as original. I have no idea if this is true, or just made for Matlock![]()
Current BCA/WPA 8b rules do not penalize a 8b scratch on break as a loss. Incoming player can: A. spot 8b and take BIH in kitchen OR B. Re-rack and break. We play 8 on the break with a scratch as a loss but who knows. It's one of those things the house should set and forget. What I'd do is make the win loss contingent on subsequently running one group.
Sounds about right. We still play scratch on the 8 loses. The 8 on the break scratch loss is at least logical.Current BCA/WPA 8b rules do not penalize a 8b scratch on break as a loss. Incoming player can: A. spot 8b and take BIH in kitchen OR B. Re-rack and break.
Scratch on 8 is only a loss if you make the 8b AND scratch. Scratch without sinking the 8b is just BIH for opponent.Sounds about right. We still play scratch on the 8 loses. The 8 on the break scratch loss is at least logical.
Yeah the leagues used the modern rule but most play cue ball scratch on the 8 loses. The rooms played mostly Texas Express 9 ball so 8 ball when it came up was played as a second class pastime with the old rules. Take what you make too.Scratch on 8 is only a loss if you make the 8b AND scratch. Scratch without sinking the 8b is just BIH for opponent.
Thats what I meant before, 8 ball and cue ball both go in the hole when you breakScratch on 8 is only a loss if you make the 8b AND scratch. Scratch without sinking the 8b is just BIH for opponent.
8 on the break is never a lossProblem is this is probably a foul, Most places 8 on the break is either a loss or it's spotted.
I guess you're never played bar pool8 on the break is never a loss
If you can’t win by making the 8-ball on the break, then you can’t lose by scratching….it‘s thinking like this is why I didn’t play 8-ball for years.Sounds about right. We still play scratch on the 8 loses. The 8 on the break scratch loss is at least logical.
