OK Ok I'll try to some way make this pool related I promise.

I finally figured out the little green dots. Thankyou for the support, you know who you are. But unfortuanately I don't. I saw for a minute a couple of lines of message on a dot given out 10-20-07. One had a phone number that I stupidly did not write down.

Now I can't seem to get back there. HELP..... And do we all get one dot when we start so we don't feel like complete idiots??

In my trial and error I have learned a lot about pool though. Thanks AZ forum members.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but if you mean Rep points they are given to you by other members for posting positive or helpful things. You can see who gave them to you as well as the date and the thread they are related to, and if the person left some comment, just go to your User CP at the top left of the screen.

The portion that is bolded is incorrect.

At the bottom of a post made by you there is only the rep button and if clicked will show if you have received rep for that post or other info if rep had been given to that post.

At the bottom of a post made by someone else there are two buttons, rep and bad. The bad buttons is to report a bad post to the mods, only. The rep button is for for giving both good and bad rep. After clicking the rep buttons it asks if you agree or disagree with the post and a box to leave a comment.

No Arguing. I got it on the first post. Sometimes I'm very good at following instructions....LoL Reps to you. And thanks Fatboy you are very sweet. ( and discreet )

If anyone is wondering about my Avatar. Its my oldest daughter Traci and her husband Richard. They are Spoofing Salt Lake City, running around with handcuffs asking which way they went and occasionally hasseling unsuspecting strangers with jumping bond. We love tv at out house and sometimes pretend we are on it. It doesn't take much to be a star. Just say you are and believe it. No they don't live in Salt Lake and got out of town quickly.

I do not know if the boxes are in a different spot on a different computer system. But they are in the upper right hand corner of the post, just above the users join date and post count, when using the other skin. And there are no rep or bad buttons. There is a "Scales of Justice" =rep and a "Orange Triangle"=bad.

You can change skins by going to the User CP, Edit Options and scroll down to the very bottom to the skins section. Remember to click Save Changes.

I learned pretty early what they meant when I tried to give Joey a good rep but basically disagreed with one statement. I think it was him. Anyway he PM's me back and asked if I really meant it. Of course I didn't & that's how we learn. Sorry Joey.

To answer your question I think some computer formats are set up differently because when I am at my mom's the boxes are sometimes in different places. Or is it just that I phsycotic by then. You know what families do to the black sheep. If i'm at my mom's what am i doing talking to you guys and wishing I was at the pool room. Especially with the 9 ft Brunswick in the basement....

I have looked and looked, and I swear I don't have a 'back' button - I even checked both styles.

It sounds like a helpful tool, too.

whose aggitating my dots? you aggitating my dots? Sorry guys, I love that commercial so much, I had to post it. -although I think hearing "CHEF" say it is part of the reason I like it so much- Hey chil-ren!!! :)
