hi razor
I recently bought the BK3 and the Mezz Dual Force and tested both over a couple of weeks. I cud do that, coz I had enough folks in the club who wud take one or the other.
Maybe important to know that I had used a Mezz breaker before for years. dont know its exact name - think powerbreak or so - but it was a two piece only and i loved it! Then I got the Mezz Dual Force first, didnt like it as well as the old one. then got used to it in a few weeks. then the BK3 arrived. First impression: very very light! After using it for a couple of nights, I went back to the Mezz Dual Force and loved it right away!
So Ill stick with the Mezz and gave to BK3 away to colleauge, who likes it very much btw.
I wud say it depends what suits ur breaking style. If u have a short, compact and explosive break style, like let's say Hohmann does, a light cue like the BK3 makes total sense, coz u can easier accelerate it. If u have a longer back stroke and rather use a follow through break style (like shane does), then u work more with the mass of the cue, which the Mezz surely has more of it.
will be interesting to hear abt ur decision
