Thoughts on Presidential Pool Tables

Post the Main Page, I can't get there from the link............some tables like ZBilliards tables use cheap slates and say they are precision. And the use real cheap pockets, that sometimes aren't square......or even the same height on both sides.

I got there.............they look like they are good. But you never know. ZBIlliards buys their tables from overseas supplier as do a few other table makers. They are the same tables, just a different suppliers name. How much does that table retail for?

PTM,

It retails for $5,750, the dealer said he'll sell it to me for $3,995. As far as the pockets, I have some RC Design Pockets on my current table that I probably could use and let the dealer put the Presidential Pockets on the table I am trading in. You think that would be a good idea? The table carries a lifetime warrenty for everything except the cloth and pockets. It looks very well constructed to my untrained eye.

Let me know what other info you need, I value your opinion, so any other info you have would be great.

I would check around......for that price you could get a trusted brand. And I would want to see one in person. Without seeing it you really don't know. As long as the pockets they come with are RC's or Hood they are good, or you could switch yours out. What table do you have now?

I have an AMF right now. I know I could get a Brunswick or Diamond or Olhausen or whatever. But I really like the teak wood. Personally I don't care what the furniture looks like, I would like to have a Gold Crown, but the wife wants the furniture, so I'm just trying to appease her at the same time.

Looking at the tables, they look well constucted, but of course I'm no expert. The teak wood is beautiful and strong. I'm going to wait a few months before buying another table, hopefully you'll get to see one in person before then.:)

8 Years ago they made them different, alittle. Over the years they have changed a few things. Sounds like one of those funny ebay auctions.......he says for pictures goto the Diamond website.
