Does anyone know what pin size is used on my Cuetec 99296 Break/Jump Cue?

I hate to bother you guys with such a trivial thing, but i can't get any help from Cuetec, and i really want to put joint protectors on it.

Thank you

I believe all cuetec cues use their own 3/8 dia X 14 tpi thread. Most cue repairmen may not have a tap for that size, it is not standard. Of course threads can be cut on a lathe any size. I hope that helps you. Any of us repairmen can make some delrin protectors, but it may be more economical to just order a set from cuetec, my Cuetec jump/break had them with the cue!

Mine had one on the Butt, but not on the shaft, so i thought i would just pick up a matching set.:)

I doubt if Hook has a lathe

And something that small is cheaper to just buy, they make them now, cuetec has them I am sure, and so does Mueller online as well I believe.

Yeah, i have not worked in a machine shop in 20 years. I checked with Cuetec before i started this thread. They were no help at all, no response
from them. Mueller was no help, Pool dawg, Seyberts etc etc. I did not think this would be so hard.

I know you would like some with the logo on them, I am checking on them, I'll let you know how I make out. Is the logo that important?

Nope. I had seen a photo of some in a thread a while back and kinda wanted a set. But any set will do.:)

Thanx for your help
