Hey, can't you guys save your pennies, break down and buy some AccuStats videos. If your trading of videos closes down AccuStats, then I'll be forced to watch the drivel on Fox and ESPN.

Amen to that brother willie. I am a member of the video-of-the-month club. My favorite time of the month is when my new tape or DVD arrives.

Where else are you gonna see world-class 14.1 or one-pocket? Not on ESPN for sure.

Everyone who was interested in trading has already has bought hundreds,if not thousands, of dollars worth of accu-stat tapes. I agree with you that they are the best but 30-40 bucks a video adds up, that's why people like trading. I could watch a different one pocket or billiard tape every day if I had the time or money. I let people borrow my tapes and it sucks when they borrow ten of mine and are too cheap to buy one or two I haven't seen. I'm hoping more pool halls (like maybe Hard Times in LA) will install cameras and broadcast some matches on the internet with quality players.

The other reason I am interested in trading is some of accustats catalog is unavailable now; matches of people like Steve Cook,Cornbread, etc... obviously are not going to be newly produced so I want to watch them before they disappear or turn into overpriced collector's items like the Eddie Robbin's books.

Bud,
I certainly have no problems with trying to obtain unavailable or out of print videos. I also understand the financial issue; but its all about me - please don't doom me to a life of watching Mitch Lawrance describe the beauty of a push out (he thinks "its one of the most interesting parts of a match").

Hey now! Don't be bashing Mitch, he's married to a HOFer!

And then there's the inevitable "Coming from a snooker background she's very comfortable with the bridge" :p

I swear if I hear that one more time I will pull all my freaking hair out...

I'll take Grady's "I don't think this ole boy's got a miss in 'im tonight Johnny" any day :D

RickW,
Eva L. is fabulous, but she married below herself. I'm not even saying I hate Mitch, its just that he's about a hundred rungs on the announcing ladder below the usual AccuStats suspects.

Wally,
The last time Mitch extolled Allison's snooker background I had to throw my pool towel at the T.V. (glad I wasn't holding the cue ball at the moment). Have you seen the match where Mike Zuglan runs 148 and misses. He points his finger at his head like its a gun, and the picture gets captured and frozen on the screen at the end of the match. Billy Incardona (announcing with Danny DiLiberto), says the picture "looks like one of Danny's backers." I also find Danny's stories really funny, and Nick Varner's commentary is also usually humorous.
