Threaded Ivory Ferrule

If you are not from the USA why would you ask us to commit a crime to supply you an Ivory ferrule?

Yah, since he has already been told by Joe it's illegal for us to do so......

I was wondering if just a piece is fine or not. Read that there can be exceptions somehow. Never tried an ivory ferrule before. Thanks, I'll cancel.

I don't think so. Just a customer inquiring about shipping ivory overseas as many do or to someone here in the states (and we decline as we always have done). And for our critics, yes we have never shipped raw ivory out of the USA unlike the clueless clowns in Skokie.

As an aside - what do you do if a customer from overseas wants ivory shipped to his friend, cousin, aunt in Tennessee? If you knowingly send the ivory to them regardless that you are legally shipping within the USA, we believe it's still a violation. That goes for cues containing ivory as well. Once you have knowledge that the customer is overseas and they ask you to ship to their relative in the USA, where do you think that ivory will end up?! You don't need to be at the end of that stick.

I know what you mean. I once had a customer give me a shipping address to the states then his paypal comes from a Canada address. I refunded him the money and told him I could not send Ivory to the cuemaker knowing it was going to Canada. Needless to say he told me off and told me that he and a bunch of other people on some private cuemakers forum were never going to do business with me again.

He did you a favor! LOL

The private cue makers forum! You got free advertising.

I wish I had a dollar for every time someone was "never going to do business with us again"! Then they have their aunt, uncle, brother or friend order from us. Someone could build a business on CueComponents rejects. The only problem is they'd have to spend all day baby sitting with people who want to know when their order is shipping, did their order ship, why didn't it ship, why hasn't it shipped when they just placed the order 5 minutes ago, can we send the tracking number again, why didn't UPS ring their bell, it was scheduled for delivery today and it isn't here yet (it's 9am), it says delivered and it's not here (did you check your mail box!), the credit card declined, the credit card declined again after it was ok, they want to make a change, they want to cancel item "A" and add item "C", they want to remove item "X", they want to add 2 more tip pads to their order, and the list goes on and on and on.... ad nauseum.

I could write a book! NO, I could write a set of encyclopedias!

While we do appreciate each and every order we receive and while this was written tongue-in-cheek, there are some which require very high maintenance. :)
