Tiger cues

I had a buddy of mine ask me about tiger cues because he is thinking of buying one. I know next to nothing about them. Are they qaulity cues? How do they play? Any input would be appreciated.
 
Tiger Cues are great hitting cues and great quality too. I had a chance to play with the new Tiger X shafts and loved them, had the new Onyx tip on it. Very solid hitting cue. He won't be disappointed. :thumbup: If he wants opinions, I would get a Schon or a Mezz Cue if possible, maybe even a Predator Cue if he wants a production cue. I shoot with a Predator shaft on a Jacoby but, the OB Shafts hit more firmer IMO. If he's set on the Tiger Cue, he made a good choice. Ron

Thanks for the input. Yeah i think he is set on getting a tiger because his nickname is tiger and he likes the look of one he saw. He is a character.

They are great quality cues. Let me know which one your buddy is interested in and I will make him a great deal on it - I go to the Tiger factory all the time and I'm one of their best dealers.
 
Corey's a pleasure to work with. I've gotten a few tiger shafts from him in the past. I love the shafts btw..:)

I enjoy the look

as much as the performance. Stacked leather wrap is holding up very well with no sign of use from daily playing over 2 yrs. The TPC2 is the cue I use while on 8 & 9 ft tables. Well made cue.

I agree! I have a Tiger TPC-3 player that I absolutely love. It has the X-Ultra shaft, which is radially-consistent, but NOT low-deflection (which I personally prefer -- I don't mind radially-consistent shafts, but I DO mind LD -- don't like 'em). It has a wonderful hit! I ran a 112 in 14.1 on January 10th of this year using this cue. And the stack leather wrap shows no signs of wear either. Because of the Tiger TPC-3, I now prefer stack leather wrap as the wrap of choice on any wrapped cue (I actually prefer wrapless, but stack leather is as close as you can get to wrapless without being wrapless).

Another helpful tip is that Tiger cues are actually made by Jacoby, so you'll have an idea of the quality. (And the 100% American-made thing goes without saying as well.)

I would give my business to Tiger any day -- their products are superior, and the folks working there are one of a kind. Billy's Boy, I think your friend is on the right track.

I used to have a Tiger cue. I dont know if they are still made by Jacoby.Mine was.
Was a nice cue with the stackwrap.

WOW! I am officialy sold on Tiger cues. I may have to get one myself. Thanks for all the input.
