Tiger Laminated Shafts

I had purchased a Tiger laminated shaft about 3 years ago and was not impressed at all. However-after playing with a friends brand new Tiger shaft. I was so impressed I bought one. I've been able to use most versions of the Predator, the OB1 and even the McDermott and I prefer the Tiger - hands down. Does anyone know if Tiger changed their manufacturing process since first coming out with their laminated shaft?

Yep

Yep if you look at there website, they are now trying to do about the same thing that predator is doing. I mean they don't piece them together the same exact way, but that is what they are trying to acieve. That is probably why they play a lot better now.

Im planning on picking up 2 of them myself. I have a geft cert to Tiger I have to use I and I have heard good things about them.

Tiger "X" Laminated Shafts are a 5 year old concept that has only been on the market for about 3 1/2 years.

The shafts have evolved quite a bit since they 1st hit the market.

A shaft that you would have tried 3 years ago, would have had a much more conical taper (almost like a 3-Cushion billiards shaft), perhaps some discoloration in the peices, visible lamination lines and a 1/2" ferrule.

To compare the shaft that we are making today, is like a day and night difference.

We had held back production for most of this time until we had our formula down pat. We are there now, and you will notice the difference.
