That's a real nice H I Express- What rate should i be looking for?

Just a reminder - we have some spots still open for this event, but we are filling up very quickly. This is an Open event only. No simultaneous women's event.
Rooms are booking up quickly - if you have problems getting a room in Cambridge, Easton is the next closest town and only 20 minutes away (no different than driving to the room you would normally play)!

For anyone still interested to get into this event, at present we have about 9 spots left. I'm receiving entries at a rate of about 1 per day, so we should be full within the next week or so.

As this event is geared towards pros and semi-pro level players, if anyone knows of a pro who will be interested in playing in this en route to the US Open and who by chance thinks that they will be able to enter on the day of the event, please inform them. Last year we had to turn away players, and Santos Sambajon (who finished 3rd after Bustamante and Souquet) only got in after another player sold them their spot for double the price.

Players can call me at (703) 282-0912 to see if any spots remain before sending away their entry fee.

Thanks,

Hey...are you gonna go to this?

Hey there Girl-Sorry i didnt anwer right away- I was in Florida til late Tues nite without a PC.

Im still debating- If i go then with the Open- it will be ten straight days of pool watching- That might be too much for even me.

Ill let you know.

Yes, Todd Elkins from Parrot Cue will be there.
I have no idea if Todd pays this board any mind or if he even knows about it but I just wanted to mention what a nice guy he is. I've had the pleasure of talking to him a couple of times at the TPP tourneys and he's just a heckuva nice guy! ;)

I was thinking the same thing... I guess for some of us, there's no such thing as too much. At one point I was gonna go to the summit in NY, the open warm up, & the open. Due to dates, gas prices, & overall finances I'll not be going with that original game plan. However, it's not because it was "too much pool"

LOL who knows, maybe it's because I see no pool at home & ONLY when I get out to a tourney.

Oh Yeah i forgot about the World Summit-Of course ill be there-so i think ill skip the Prep though i just may get the urge.

Really though, as much as i love pool, i think 5 days in a row is enough. I was ready to bite a cue ball at the DCC one year when i tried to go for the whole thing and i wasnt alone in that feeling.

Who is going???

I just reserved my room for Sat night... who else from here is going???

For those of you who have not yet reserved a hotel room for this event, the Holiday Inn Express has a "Great Slates tournament rate" of $89.

(410) 221-9900

Hows about a list of paid entrants? Might get more folks out if they realize just how many of the World's top players will be there...
