I felt one of these on a friends cue the other day...
It felt great but I did not have anytime to try it out for some shots.

How are these after playing a few hours? Does it take away from feeling the hit? How does it compare to the ever popular Irish linen? I have also heard that these can get sticky?...true?

I imagine you'd feel the hit the best with a wrapless cue...right?

I recently purchased a DeRoo cue made in 2001. It has a Stack wrap. It is not sticky and feels very nice. I have a leather, pig skin, wrap on my playing cues so I do have something to compare it to.

Hey Don how do you like leather wraps compared to linen. I have never played with a cue with a leather wrap and Im afraid to order a cue with it because Im afraid that I wont like it. No one around has a cue with a leather wrap so I cant really try it out. Is the texture of the leather wrap similar to the texture of a leather jacket or that of an instroke case????? What about lizard wraps?

The stack wraps are better once the finish wears off a little. They feel fine - almost like a wrapless cue. Tiger products does first rate work. If you get one, carefully pick out the colors - you don't want a "candy cane" look. Tiger also does an excellent job on plain leather wraps for $95. I think their pigskin leather is the best for that.

Leather wraps

Boars hide and pigskin are perforated with the hair holes. They are not slick at all. I have never tried lizard skin, however, they do look quite nice.

Tony and his bunch do an awesome job. They can take a stack wrap and mix colors to match your cue or make it all one color. Mine was a little tacky after it was first put on, but now it is just fine and it feels great. IMHO predator ultra leather wrap feels the best.
