Starts: Saturday 12 Noon Sharp
Format: 9-Foot Tables, Double Elimination, Races to 9 winners side and 7 on losers side
Entry Fee: $65 ($50 for Women and Juniors Under 21)
**Open to anyone – membership not required for this specific event in the Open Division!

Women's Division Format 9-Ball ($500 cash added plus $500 paid WPBA Qualifer Spot)
Starts: Sunday 11 am Sharp
Format: 9-Foot Tables, Double Elimination, Races to 7 and 5
Entry Fee: $55 ($45 for Juniors Under 21)

He's right - a lot of surprises took place in the open division. We started off Saturday with a full field of 64 players, including Mike Davis, Shaun Wilkie and Matt Krah - all returning for the Billiard Factory Vegas event. Sunday evening, the finals ended up with Danny Mullhollen III defeating Kevin West.

The ladies match went super late last night with Megan Meinrich defeating My Hanh Lac. My Hanh was playing from the hot seat after having beaten Megan 7-4. The finals score was 9-7 Megan. My Hanh still gets the qualifier spot for the WPBA Mid-West Classic.

We should have the updates out soon - The main link to the site is momentarily down - you can still use the http://www.pooltour.comand the www.planet-pool.com link to get there. We're working on the problem.

Don't forget our next two events - June 30 - July 1st One-Pocket in Sterling, and July 7 - July 8 Regular 9-ball event at Side Pockets in Laurel MD.
 
Thanks so much... I knew I left the tournament in very capable hands. It was nice to spend a whole weekend at the poolroom. It doesn't happen that often anymore. Yourself, Andy and Mike do a great job. Your right, lots of surprises but Danny was just playing out of this world Sunday and we will be proud to list his name on the memorial under guys like Mike Davis and Brandon Shuff. Danny is a real class-act as were 99% of the gentlemen and ladies who attended the event this year. Always a pleasure. I guess the biggest surprise for me was winning a match and almost a second !!! LOL
