Tightening Gold Crown 2 Pockets

As much as it sucks, all of my research and experience have led me to a simple conclusion: Either your table is right, or it isn't.

If it's right (all the parts line up, angles are correct, etc.,), leave it alone. Have the table recovered when it needs it, and have the rail rubber replaced when it dies, but make sure not to alter anything.

If it's not right (parts don't line up, angles aren't correct, etc.,), hire a pro. Find one experienced in correcting your table's issues, let them make it right, and then enjoy it. Don't try to DIY, as that tends to turn out badly. Also, don't try to save a couple of bucks by hiring some jack leg who will learn as he goes on your table.

If you want tighter pockets, hire a pro to properly extend the sub rails. Doing a "good enough" job on something like that is going to leave you with a table that plays like crap. Having a pro explain it without allowing you to use their tooling isn't going to do much more than get you deeper in trouble.

Good for you...someone that gets it and doesn't have something smart ass to say.......to the point and true.
