That's a beautiful cue nick. I love the five veneers, they make it just a little bit special.
Took a while.
Didn't think about the special thing until you lit a candle thought in my head.
This is a special Cue.
Mike really had to like you to build anything with a straight grain front.
Why?
He couldn't find anything that was nice enough to do veneer Cues with.
Michael just didn't like 5 veneer fronts. The geometry didn't please his eyes.
He saw 5 veneers as nothing special.
Mike liked 3 veneers better then 5.
I keep saying Mike because he built all the fronts from 1985 on for the most of it.
So at the plate with 2 strikes.
He worked the shafts as a Cochran.
Strike 3.
Out.
You couldn't pay the man to do these things.
He would do them.
Just not for money.
At his pleasure you had a shot.
