I bought this from Tim back in 1999. The shaft is 13.25 (4.10 oz) and dead straight. $700 - Firm - would consider trade+ for Cognoscenti.

I had it in Ray Schuler's shop in Palatine IL around 2000, and he said he had never seen a shaft that stiff. I am including a OB Classic shaft for free.

Shaft is 13.25mm (wt 4.10 oz)
Butt (wt 15.10 oz)

In 1996-2001 Tim used logo with numbers like 9TS9.
Your cue does not have it.
Also, do you by any chance any proof that you are the first owner?
Is everything on a cue original - shaft, finish, ferrule?
Thanks.

Every thing on the cue is original as I purchased it from Tim.

I have no proof that I'm the original owner. Of course I had no clue on who Tim Scruggs was at the time. I had a Huebler Hustler (Sneaky Pete) that I loved and broke accidentally. I was attempting to replace that. I got something that was not even close. Much better IMO.

I was think'n of taking the shaft down to 12.5mm. But my friend Sam from Red Shoes told me not to touch it. He said keep it ALL original. (Thanks Sam)

It has a couple of small nicks in the butt. Nothing real noticeable IMO. The tip is an old Morrie Medium put on back then. Actually I had Ray Schuler put it on. So the stick has never been played with alot if it has had one tip put on in 14 or so years.

I can't prove Ray put the tip on either.

I did talk to Tim regarding another shaft. When I sorta balked at the price, he told me to take the stick and go out and beat some body for the money to buy a new shaft. Classic Tim.

I hope this helps.

Ted

As Nick said, not all cues with that logo had the first number of the year number before and last after, only if requested or it was a special cue or something like that.

Thanks. I only keep a few. I deal them. I think about 45 or so sold last year. Great cues for just about anyone's price range.
