A friend just gave me two unfinished shaft blanks made out of the Timeless Timber submerged/recovered maple wood, and two solid ivory ferrule blanks. He has had these in a corner of his closet for the last 6-7 years and they are going to waste. I am looking for someone to make the finished shafts. I want a long pro taper (14-15"), one shaft @ 12.25mm and one @ 12.75mm, a 5/16x14 pin, and a simple black collar with one silver ring. I will also provide the tips. I am looking for cuemakers who want to do this. If anyone here is interested, shoot me a pm with price and timeline. Thanks!! :p

RayJay, I can turn those for you.
I have done severial 'sunken maple' shafts in the past.
They were popular for a while but never really caught on as something any better than the current crop of straight grain, properly seasoned Maple.

If I were looking for something special in a shaft I think I would go with the OB-1. The way that shaft is constructed is a fine example of brilliant engineering.

One week turnaround ... $50 each ... cut as you discribed.
