A cue is a cue. It is made of wood with a little extras. There is absolutely nothing in this world that would help improve the quality, feel, hit of a piece of wood. It is all mental. Adding a 314 to any cue is just a waste of money.
Be happy with what you have. There is no miracle cure to being a bad pool player. No cue in the world will help you play better if you really "don't have what it takes". Be happy with being an Amateur, Semi-pro, or Pro.
