I spoke with Brent ... BHQ .. some months or maybe even a year and change back about a cue. I'm a big fan of butterfly points and liked what I had seen. At the time nothing was close, nothing was ready, then I got broke, ... and about that time saw

the cue in that thread.
as luck would have it (good luck for me
) no one moved on it and a couple months later I was able to pick it up. It got here about two weeks ago and I have had the pleasure of shooting with it since. Skinny, light, forward balanced, and SOLID. Screws together well, with no trace of a seam between shaft and butt. Fit and finish are excellent ... blah blah blah ......
... but IT IS!! Not a blemish or bump or dull spot. The shaft felt like glass, the butt looked like glass.
Brents pictures don't suck
.... but they sure don't show all the color in the wood in this cue or the color in the butterflies. The rosewood in the butterflies is almost purple like madagascar rosewood or bois de rose ( same wood I think but I'm not sure) The butterflies five different blue and purple veneers are the perfect contrast.
Tip is an Everest, first one I have shot with and that works well. The cue just plays nice. It felt like I had been playing with it for months, right out of the box.
Dealing with Brent could not have been any easier.
I'm not sure how this cue sat as long as it did, but that worked for me. If you have not played with one of Brent's cue, I would suggest you try one.
