If you are talking about players that won't gamble, but CLAIM they do, then you are right. Otherwise, maybe those people just dont gamble, and you should respect that. As for the weaker players, you can't just expect them to want to give their money away for nothing. I play a very strong player occasionally just for the table time, and we play long sets. I have no chance to beat him, hell sometimes I get to shoot 2 or 3 times in a race to 7 if the table is breaking well. He runs alot of racks, and he has even offered me a spot, playing just for the time. I tell him that when I play cheap or for the time I will play anyone even. I donate 15 or 20 dollars to hopefully learn something. Now if I was playing him for like $50 or $100 or higher, I would definately ask for appopriate weight. But for now I consider it cheap lessons. People who ask for weight and are only betting $5 or $10, that's pretty nitt-ish.
