Tip Compression Question

So I know I have read some post before about tip compressing but I wanted get some more info about it.

1. What would be the average time frame to compress a tip? 15 min seems to short and 8 hours seems to long, or am I wrong in thinking that.

2. I was going to use a 14mm triangle for this first initial test, the comment was made about making a hard tip even harder. Can somebody who has done this confirm/deny this? Also how much does the tip change during this process?

3. Somebody mentioned milking a tip than compressing, what exactly is this and is this use good ? I've never heard of this and wanted to know more about it.

Any extra comments or suggestions about this matter would be appreciated before I begin testing this.

Thanks.

Sounds like you're trying to build a milk dud. Use the search feature on az, there are many threads on this.

Actually no. I am more interested in just a compressed triangle. Somebody brought up milk dud and was just curious on that part. Thank you for the info tho.
