To the OP - Thanks for taking the time to share...I'm sure it wasn't easy to write/admit the situation...
To Paul (the "buyer") - Good on you for being patient and understanding...a true gentleman to say the least...
To everyone else - Keep in mind there is a world of difference between an "effed up family" and an "effed up situation" within a family...
In the words of my parents while growing up (and still to this day sometimes!): "You really aren't a stupid person...but you sure do some stupid things sometimes!"
