Tip for snooker cue

I just got my first snooker cue. A "Bobcue" with a tip that has not seen the light of day in 10 years. Thinking of putting a dud on it.

Thoughts or suggestions, please.

I've been using Elk Masters on my snooker cues, but I've been wanting to branch out and try other tips. Never tried any milk duds, so I can't comment.

Trying an Elk Pro on my English pool cue at the moment, but I've also heard fantastic things about ADR147 and Mike Wooldridge tips.

Greg, thx for the reply.

I believe the duds from (from memory so check name) pooldawg8 are elks that he has processed. They are meant to be firmer and maintain their shape better/longer.

The fact they are unaltered leather was why I thought they would be a good start for me.
