Tip of the hat, wag of the finger...

My "theory"?

Donny is just mad I made fun of his theory on pinpoint position so he's taking it out on me. He'll get over it once he realize that he is WRONG!

My "theory" may be wrong in your view, but it's been working very well for scores of students I've taught in the past twenty years!
The theory is quite simple. If you play "area" position, that's what you'll get.
If you play "pinpoint" position (whether a particular shot needs it or not), your cue ball control will improve.
Just a crazy idea from an old man in his fifty-seventh year on the felt.
