Has anyone tried the Tip Pik, does chalk hold better?

The Tip Pik... heh heh heh...

It works, but use it sparingly. If you find that you have to use it a lot, you're tip is probably too hard to hold chalk properly or just plain defective.

Lightly pik the tip with it, don't gouge. I killed two Moori tips within 9 months using the Pik too much. And that was before I found out you're not supposed to use them on layered tips.

Thank God I have an understanding Cueman.

edit: changed the "after" to "before". duh!

tip pik review!!

try the tip pic on your head, does it feel good, do you think your poor little tip that you pound balls with will apreciate being poked and proded with a bunch of sharp objects, i think not. using a tip pick breaks the fibers in your tip, causing your tip to break down. at most use a porper tip tapper( the flatblack one that looks like a paddle). after shapping my moori tips i never touch them, i watch players grind and tip tap the snot out of their tips and laff. just more customers for me to keep putting tips on for. just my thought, be gentle to your tip and it will treat ya good.

During the life of the Triangle tip on my Dufferin sneaky pete, I might use the tip pik once or twice and that's it.
