Does anyone have a photo of a snooker cue tip, showing the shape?
Ie are they just a single radius to the edge , or are they a nickel radius with a .1 inch rad in the outer edges of the tip?
Are they also the same size as the ferrule or are they now with the tips slightly over hanging the ferrule?
Any info would be greatly apreciated.
Regards to all , Neil

Hey Neil! Tips are all over the map. Look at scaramouche's videos especially from the Masters. The BBC has a camera directly above the table and every once in awhile they zoom in really closely, but you will find that everybodies tip is different.
The latest trend by the pros is to have the leather slightly bigger than the brass ferrule. Supposedly this prevents miscueing from when the cue ball is tight on the cushion.
My advice is just to try it out and see. I actually used to play with a really flat tip. I could put on fantastic amounts of draw. But side was a lot trickier. Now I play with a dome that's flush with the brass. But as I tend to draw more than I play tops, it becomes somewhat asymmetric.

Hope that helps.
