I have the HXT30, and it's also a decal cue. I've always been really fond of sneaky pete type cues, and I have a player's sneaky pete, and a sneaky pete J/B cue. Only problem is, randoms keep taking my cues, thinking they're house cues, and I have to go hunt them down. I'm considering buying another player's J/B cue, just for that reason alone.
That's the other model I was considering when I bought the HXTE10! While I'm a simple-cue kind of guy, I am a sucker for turquoise ever since my wife and I did about 3 weeks traveling in the southwestern states.
Is your Players sneaky pete an HXT-series cue? If so, which model? I couldn't find an SP in the HXT-series when I decided to buy a wrapless cue.
To keep people from mistakenly taking your cue, maybe you could slip something obvious on the shaft when not in use. First thing that comes to mind is a big sunflower like the one my grandmother used to have on her car antenna so she could find her car in a parking lot! No one would mistake it for a house cue
