Tips for proper bridge hand placement/alignment?

It seems not that many people are aware of how important it is to have your bridge hand properly aligned to your elbow. If you place your bridge hand to the left or to the right of where it's supposed to be, it will cause you to have a crooked stroke.

For those that have worked on this part of their mechanics, is there a method I can use for getting my bridge hand in line with my elbow without having to lean a mirror up against the pool table?

Concentrate on getting you're elbow, shooting hand, bridge hand, and head on the line of the shot before getting down, then keep them on that line as you get into your stance and get your body out of the way. If you use the line of the shot as reference you will know that all the elements are properly aligned.
