1. Aim while you stand behind the shot, not once you're down ready to shoot.

2. Keep your eyes on the contact point when you shoot; NOT the cue ball.

3. Take your time, there's no substitute for going 1 shot at a time.

4. Level your cue, chances are good that you are jacked up when you don't need to be.

5. Grip the cue with all fingers not just index & thumb.

6. Do not hit them hard, just push the cue ball forward.
