I use to use WB tips. At the time they were the best tip bar none. Somehow, several years ago, they changed their mixture. Now either tip they offer are hard so I don't use them any more.
Now I use a Schon tip, they come with a fibre/plastic back pad and appx med hard. I was told by a guy at Seyberts they are a repressed WB but I doubt that at this point. What ever they are, there consistant and they hold chalk well and I've only had a problem with one. I blew a chunk out so it had to be replaced.
I think the claims on any tip, more spin etc is WAY over rated. Maybe they are to you but only because you have more confidence, not the tip properties. If the tip holds chalk well and you can hit the edge of the c/b any tip works well. The only difference is feedback and whether you like a soft or more firm feel. Another factor is the ability to hold it's shape, some do well and others don't. Schon does well in this area, so does Triangle.
I'm not a fan of layered tips although a Morri is a pretty good tip. For me Talsman tips mushroomed big time and a couple came apart, plus they don't hold chalk as well. What ever you do don't buy into hype. No tip spins the ball better, draws more etc. Thats you and your cueing accuracy.
