Tips..where do you stand?

People seem to be all over the place on this one.Lets see where we stand as a whole...or how far apart we are as a whole as it were.

Perhaps post which you one you shoot and why.

I "need" med leather layered tips on my shooters...currently using talisman.

I'm using Moori-M. Not because I spent years trying out different tips. Just that I heard their good, and since this is my first cue, I figured any tip would be better than regular house cue tips.

I typically love a medium, Ive really liked the Hercules and Sniper tips...

Im going to try a soft tip though as I have a soft stroke and dont like to put too much on the ball than I need to....

I play on bar boxes most of the time as well, and tried a hard tip, and on very soft shots, no matter how soft I hit itd be a little more than I wanted...

I didn't vote in the poll because i didn't really find a category i'd fit in. I use a hercules, moori, and a sniper. Love all three. Depending on the shaft one tip would feel better than the other so i was never able to settle on just 'one tip' for all cues.

I just picked the use the standard tip until it wears down. I love Triangles, but I'm not about to waste a perfectly good tip to put one on! I can play with any tip, but I do have a pref...

Nice poll, it's different than the other million tip polls.

I like Talisman Hard tips, but, I also play with a couple of cues that have Moori tips nd they hit good too. I chalk alot, so the hard tips last longer and hold their shape better.

First thing I do is remove whatever is on there... Moori, Talisman, Lepro, yada yada, and install a milk dud... Plays great from the first shot, no mushrooming, great spin and feel. Nuff said. Also milk duds never delaminate, because they can't!! One less worry.
