A lot of customers want the thickness of the tip cut down some.
Some of the layered tips are thick. I guess too thick of a tip is
a distraction?

Glue.....Loctite super glue gel
Is there a better glue?

I always install fiber pad or carbon fiber pad, with the tip.
Unless customer does not want it.


Always looking for input to make the process better.

I always ask the customer if they want some sort of pad to protect the ferrule, I never install one without getting the OK from the customer.

I use Loctite 401.
