Could anyone please tell me if they have tried the hit of a titanium pin, and what are their thoughts?

I am curious if there is any significant in the feedback and sensitivity between steel and titanium.

Thank you.

i've used both and notice no hitting/feel difference but it does lighten up front of the forearm a bit, changing balance point ever so slightly towards the back...

Funny you ask because I am having a cue built and asked the cuemaker what he thought about a radial pin vs. 3/8x10.

His response was, "Truth be known all the pins are considerably
overkill for holding two pieces of wood together."
I decided to stick with a SS joint but found this email to be very interesting.

Someone else may think totally different but I trust this guys word on this one.

A better question is if someone is actually capable of feeling the difference between a titanium and steel pin.

Titanium is half the weight, twice the strength of plain steel. It's also much more expensive and difficult to work with from a machining standpoint.
