I want to get a titlist converted when I can find a good candidate and the money. Please clarify. I know some can be undersized so things have to be added.Do makers usually use the titlist for the forearm and then add a handle and matching butt with wood that closely matches the wood in the points? If not please give detailed description on process. Any info is much appreciated.

depends some arent long enough to make the cue 1 piece from joint to buttcap. what most makers do is add a small piece of maple at the bottom of the wrap. the adding a piece from the bottom they cut off for a buttsleeve.

so you have like 18 nches of titlist from joint to middle of wrap. then about 4 to 6 inches at bottom of wrap of maple. then 4 in buttsleeve and then hoppe rings or buttcap

total equaling 29 or 30 in whatever you want

this is still considered full splice

jerry rauenzahn told me this method. hes the best maker for the best price... hands down IMO!!! espically with the classics

i was told not often is a titlsit long enough to keep it 1 piece. when they are they get made wrapless.

Thanks dave. What I would LOVE to see is this before the wrap is added so I can see it in full effect. anyone have any pics?
