Titlist Conversion/Masse Cue

What is the viability of making a masse cue out of an old Titlist?

Would it be feasible or even possible?

If so, any cuemakers here who would be willing to attempt it?

I don't think a Titlist butt would be a good candidate for a masse cue. Masse cues have long butts and short, very stout shafts as all the energy needs to be transferred to the cue ball. Titlist butts are very large at the rear of the cue, sometimes over 1.400" but they slim down quickly and usually are to small at the joint area for a normal cue let alone another 6 inches further down the shaft for a Masse type butt. I guess an extension could be added to the back of the cue so as to move the joint end further back into the handle but I believe this will end up making very short points.
