Titlist or Titlist conversion

Titlist is a cue or cue blank made by brunswick over many decades. It followed the 26.5 and was the basis for MANY of the first custom cuemakers of yesteryear. Most notably, Rambo (whom worked for Brunswick), Balabushka, Szamboti, and many many more. A Conversion is in modern day terms, a Titlist that has been updated and customized by one of todays makers. Many of the Titlist were 1piece house cues, the nicest of house cues. Then came the Willie Hoppes. These were Titlist blanks with Willie's endorsement. These also came in 1 and 2 piece versions. They differed from most house cues of their time because of the 4 veneers in the points, and the use of more exotic woods (for that time). They spanned from approx the 30' to the 70's. Although the later ones were made by other folks for Bruns. There's a lot more history than I can fire off right now, but in a nutshell, the Titlist is the grandfather of custom 2 piece cues.
