A friend of mine picked these up for me and there were 2 of them in the bunch. Please help with ID. The butt seems a little different that the Titlists I have seen. Thank you in advance.

Cheers

I had one.

I believe it was just a newer titlist, maybe from the 70s. I found it thinner in the butt but thicker near the joint therefore making an excellent conversion candidate. The one with faded veneers still might come out super bright after being taken down. Hope this helps.

Some sort of Palm wood. As stated these are from 70s with less dramatic taper. Should have a Brunswick Titlist stamp into butt in gold lettering that may have worn off. No label like those from 40s. Points on 19 are way off. Still nice finds of price was right.

This is great info. I've been carting mine around for many years and couldn't find any markings until now, now that I knew what to look for. But ... The only letter I can tell is an 'E." What else is does the stamping say?

It says willie hoppe on one side and brunswick titlist on the other if I'm not mistaken. I had 2 at one point but had steve Klapp convert them. They turned out very well.

Were they made in the USA?

Anyone know where I can find information. I don't think these were in the BB3.
