How are the veneers added to cues such as Titlists or other spliced cue. Are they a part of the splice or are they inlaid?

If they are part of the splice does the type of wood and number affect the way the cue feels such as using dyed scyclemoore rather that natural colored wood?

Thanks

They are part of the splice (inlayed as the cue is constructed).

I don't think the color has anything to do with how the cue plays because all veneers are wood - it is just that some are dyed and some are not.
