Titlists in the Sky

well .. 2000 divided by 6 = 300++ per titlist cue...

honestly the whole bunch looks best on an antique gamesroom setup, as its just such a pity to have it chopped up..

If Ya Win....Ya Wanna Sell Just One !?

Hey Fellas,

If you win the auction.....do you wanna sell me just one of them there cues :D

Happy Bidding -- look like some nice Titlist cues!!! :)

hold on there

I am just as nutty about titlist as most but looking at the lot I think realisticly 5 will be useable as conversion blanks because the 15- 17 oz. blanks are probably to small to do much with once a cuemaker gets them on thier center. So you give a master cuemaker all the blanks he makes you 2 sweet sticks he gets five blanks. If two are not acceptable you might wind up with a free cue and 2 cues resale 200 to 250 once the if small size is factored in. So realisticly you could winde up with a 2000 cue and have 1600-1800 in it. So I see little advantage to buying the lot unless it is a satisfaction gaurenteed sale and all blanks are acceptable for conversion.And if that is the case would 2400 be too much. I say take the 2400 and buy the sweetest titlist you can find by your favorite cue maker and shoot with it. And as much as some would hate to admit it there are cuemakers out there that are makeing full splice cues. And the titlist blanks are starting to get in that pricerange. Buy new, enjoy it for your life time. The whole thing that made the titlist so advantageous to cuemakers was its low cost! They are getting higher priced and most of the sweet blanks are history. Before I went nuts over those things I might look into a Hereck. I really love the titlist hit but I liked it better when they were a low cost alternateve to a cuemaker useing thier custom blank in the forearm. Nick

this is referring to the 26 1/2 i sold u ?
Now that it's all over...those were all pre-1945 cues (based on the labels). I had a $2,300 bid in. Bad news was I lost, but the good news is I went back and re-visited an old brown 26 1/2 4-veneer cue - I started sanding and the ugly brown turned to purple. It is really amazing how ugly the cue was prior to sanding. I can't get it to scan realistically - it's not this bright.

careful

You need to seal that thing before it starts absorbing moisture or it will go to the crapper.

Titlist Cue One Piece With Leather Wrap

I've got a few here, I've seen some go so high. Mine have a leather wrap and are all fairly straight. I'll take $350 for any one of these in the picture, your choice. Thanks, Greg
