To All of You Lurking Out There....

Hey Jerry, have you and your wife been on the tournament trail lately? I see that you don't post here as often as we'd like, just thought maybe you were out taking those nice pictures? If so, let's see 'em. Say hello to your wife for me, the two of you are really nice people and I wish I had a chance to run into you more often. Peace, John.

John,

We really have not gotten out to any tournaments. As a result, no new photos. Maybe we can revisit some of the old haunts in 2006 (Valley Forge, U.S. Open, WPBA in the NE area if they decide to come somewhat close, and some regional), we will have to see though as life has gotten pretty crazy.

I do have other pictures of the Open that you were at but, since I took most of them from my seat, they are not all that great (mostly dark). I'm not sure I would know how to go about posting them here anyway as it seems that there may be legalities to be thought about (not sure everyone who is in the pictures would want to be seen anyway).

How are you doing in AZ? Hope all is well and we hope to be able to see you again as you are also a very nice person.

May you get all of the good rolls!

Jerry

Well Jerry, I wouldn't want you to get into trouble for posting pics here in the forum but I do appreciate you sending me those pics from last year. Take care, John.

I'm 45 years old and was laid off back in April. Semi-retired now. My youth was spent playing pool, mostly with my cousins on a 10ft snooker table and the competition was fierce. Haven't played much over the past 20 years but always loved the game (miss the competition mostly). I've been playing a couple of times a week since June and am completely hooked again. Played in a 20 person 9ball tournament last Sunday and came in 3rd, some of the rust must be falling off of my game because there were some decent players there. For the past 10 years my dream has been to build myself a very nice home game room with the pool table as the center piece, hopefully I will have that in the next year or so. We used to play games like golf, bottle (1 and 2 ball with the pill bottle in play), snooker and 9 ball. I wish I could find someone who knows how to play bottle, love that game.

Thanks for the thread, I started reading the forum a couple of months ago I have felt a little intimidated about posting here.

Teach me folks! that's why I read this forum.
